Chaos erupted on Capitol Hill today as Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) launched a blistering 47-minute tirade during a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing, accusing the Obama Foundation of running what he called “the most sophisticated money laundering operation since Capone put on his boots.”
With newly declassified IRS audit reports and whistleblower documents, Kennedy revealed:
- More than $500 million in grants “disappeared” into undocumented and untraceable “global initiatives.”
- Valerie Jarrett’s $740,000 annual salary while the Presidential Center remained unfinished for eight years.
- Only $1 million was deposited into the promised $470 million taxpayer protection fund (to cover cost overruns on park land).
- A mysterious $93 million consulting fee was paid to companies linked to Obama campaign contributors.
“This is not a foundation, ladies and gentlemen,” Kennedy drawled. It was a personal ATM disguised as a charity.
The real fireworks came 20 minutes later. Former President Barack Obama, attending a nearby democracy forum, was handed a phone with live footage of Kennedy’s speech. Witnesses said Obama “went purple with anger,” punching his microphone so hard that it fell off.
