The drama unfolded just days before Prince Harry\u2019s 2018 wedding to Meghan Markle<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In his book Spare, which hit shelves last year, Prince Harry disclosed a lot of personal moments, rifts and secrets that nobody could have guessed, including an alleged feud between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apparently the exchange between the two happened just days before Meghan\u2019s nuptials to Harry in 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This moment, which reportedly caused Meghan to make Kate cry \u2013 was previously revealed in leaked excerpts of the book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It explained that Kate had allegedly made Meghan cry after she demanded that \u2018all the dresses\u2019 for the flower girls had to be remade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harry even included the actual text exchange in his writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kate apparently wrote to the bride-to-be: \u201cCharlotte\u2019s dress is too big, too long, too baggy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShe cried when she tried it on at home,\u201d Kate added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that, Meghan went on to say that a tailor could make alterations, replying: \u201cRight, and I told you the tailor has been standing by since 8am. Here. At KP. Can you take Charlotte to have it altered, as the other mums are doing?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s when Kate asked for \u2018all the dresses be remade.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harry then interjected that: \u201cMeg asked if Kate was aware of what was going on right now. With her father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cKate said she was well aware, but the dresses. And the wedding is in four days!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The whole thing allegedly resulted from Kate\u2019s \u2018problems with the way Meg was planning her wedding. Something about a party for the page boys? It went back and forth.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s when Meghan told her that she wasn\u2019t \u2018sure what else to say. If the dress doesn\u2019t fit then please take Charlotte to see Ajay. He\u2019s been waiting all day.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was reported that Kate responded with a cold \u2018fine\u2019 and the next thing Harry knew, Meghan was \u2018sobbing\u2019 on the floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the tabloids months later, it was reported that Meghan was the instigator and made Kate cry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During her interview in 2021 with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan rehashed her side of the story and how the tabloids affected her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She said: \u201cI don\u2019t think it\u2019s fair to her to get into the details of [the fight], because she apologized. And I\u2019ve forgiven her. What was hard to get over was being blamed for something that not only I didn\u2019t do, but that happened to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
