I\u2019m Emma, and on my first week at school, I walked past the junior lockers and noticed a boy wearing a football jersey. As soon as I saw him, the thought, &#8220;I\u2019m going to marry him,&#8221; popped into my head. I even made a mental note of his jersey number. A week later, he transferred into my English class, wearing that same jersey. The coincidence was uncanny, and the feeling that we were connected only grew stronger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/pulsperry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-177.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22339\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pulsperry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-177.png 1024w, https:\/\/pulsperry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-177-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/pulsperry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-177-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/pulsperry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-177-768x768.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A few months into the school year, our teacher instructed him to &#8220;sit next to\u2026&#8221; and, despite several open seats, I had a strong hunch she would choose the one next to me. Sure enough, she did. We started talking, grew closer, and by our sophomore year, we were officially a couple. Even after a brief breakup and my family moving 1,900 miles away, the unshakable sense that we were destined for each other remained. Amazingly, despite living in a city of 500,000 people, we kept running into each other at random places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/pulsperry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-178.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22340\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pulsperry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-178.png 1024w, https:\/\/pulsperry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-178-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/pulsperry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-178-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/pulsperry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-178-768x768.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Eventually, we got married at 19 and are still happily together. Looking back on our journey, I can\u2019t help but reflect on how destiny seemed to weave our paths together. I\u2019m sharing this to ask if anyone else has felt a similar sense of fate in their relationships or experienced those magical coincidences. How do you interpret moments that feel so predestined?
