Emotional impact: 10-year-old wows with national anthem, brings tears to grown men<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

From early age, children should be taught to respect their country. They should especially be taught how to appreciate the sacrifice of those who fought for the freedom we enjoy today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One way of paying tribute to the courageous men and women, and to our country, is standing during the National Anthem. Unfortunately, not many youngsters do that nowadays.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Star Spangled Banner <\/em>served as the hymns of U.S. officialdom before 1931 and for those of you not familiar with its origins, the lyrics come from the Defence of Fort M\u2019Henry<\/em>, a poem written in September 1814 by amateur poet Francis Scott Key.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key witnessed the bombarding of Fort McHenry by British ships of the Royal Navy in Baltimore Harbor during the Battle of Baltimore and it is this event and the gorgeous U.S. flag that inspired the creation of the lyrics every proud American knows by heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Star-Spangled Banner\u201d is played at sport games and other significant gatherings to send a message that no matter the race, the religion, or the political differences, we are all Americans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lyrics along with the music make the anthem pretty challenging to perform. That\u2019s why it\u2019s only sang by professional musicians or played on a recording.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10-year-old Jadon Perez is recognized by his family and friends by his captivating voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He\u2019s very popular on TikTok, but he now became a sensation after a recording of him performing the national anthem has gone viral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jadon showcased his talent at a golf tournament fundraiser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His impressive performance was announced with the words, \u201cI want him to come try out for The Voice, that\u2019s how good this little boy is.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Jadon captivated the audience and made everyone emotional, even the grown ups who couldn\u2019t get enough of his angelic voice. He got all the praise because of his excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m a 75-year-old retired army vet who served twice in South Vietnam and in Desert Storm. Just hearing this young man with this gift made me appreciate what this country is all about. God Bless you young man and may your life be full of much joy and happiness,\u201d one person commented under the video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
