Jonathan Jackson made his long-awaited return to General Hospital on Friday, nearly a decade since Lucky Spencer was last seen in Port Charles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Viewers didn\u2019t actually catch a glimpse of Jackson\u2019s face until the end of the episode, however, as Lucky spent most of the hour with a burlap sack over his head. After establishing throughout the broadcast that someone was being held captive in a dirty cell, that person was ultimately revealed to be Lucky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Moments before the big unmasking, Laura was telling Elizabeth how much she misses her son. \u201cI wish to God I knew where he was so I could bring him home,\u201d she said. And just like that, there he was! So as soon as we find out where he is \u2014 and perhaps send him a comb \u2014 we\u2019ll be sure to get him home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Jackson originated the role of Lucky in 1993, playing the son of Luke and Laura Spencer on and off through 2011, at which point he departed ABC\u2019s daytime soap for the primetime country music drama Nashville.
