He died on June 2 at the age of 41, leaving a profound impact on those who knew and admired him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hundreds of people gathered to pay their respects at his funeral, including family, teammates, and community members. The procession was marked by supporters wearing rugby shirts, with a significant presence from junior players of Featherstone Lions ARLFC. His wife, Lindsey, and their three children were among the mourners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A new research center dedicated to MND was being established in his honor, just hours after his passing.
