The nurse reassured her, but her shock and denial were overwhelming. But as I looked at the baby more closely, I saw something familiar in her eyes. I realized my wife\u2019s reaction was a result of the shock, not an actual betrayal. Our baby\u2019s true identity was clear. Despite the confusion, I chose to stay by my wife\u2019s side and support her through this. Love and trust are about standing together in moments of crisis.
