For Edie, strawberry ice cream and carrot cake are the highlights of her special day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Born in 1908, Edie spent her entire life in Northern California, instilling values of hard work and resilience learned from her Italian immigrant parents. A mother and grandmother, she lived a life full of grace, always stylish and vibrant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sadly, Edie passed away shortly after her 116th birthday, leaving behind a legacy of inspiration and community love.
