\u201cWheel of Fortune\u201d gave viewers a hilarious moment on its May 23 episode as longtime host Pat Sajak\u2019s final show approaches. Contestant Tavaris Williams shocked everyone with his audacious guess during a \u201cPhrase\u201d puzzle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the letters appeared on the board, Williams guessed, \u201cRight in the butt!\u201d The audience and other contestants burst into laughter, with one contestant exclaiming, \u201cWhaaat?!\u201d This comedic moment quickly went viral, catching the attention of Jimmy Kimmel. On his May 29 \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live!\u201d show, Kimmel commended Williams, saying, \u201cI don\u2019t care what Pat Sajak says, that was a great answer.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Williams shared that Sajak was very supportive during the commercial break. \u201cPat was the best! He made me feel so great about that at the break,\u201d Williams recounted. Sajak had promised to find a \u201ctactful way\u201d to handle the moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After filming the episode in April, Williams couldn\u2019t keep the humorous moment from his wife. \u201cI told my wife instantly after, \u2018I will keep everything a secret except this \u2014 this you have to know about,\u2019\u201d he said. He had mostly forgotten about it until the episode aired and social media reactions poured in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kimmel jokingly asked Williams if \u201cright in the butt\u201d was a common phrase for him. Williams responded with a straight face, \u201cI have never used those words in sequential order a day in my life, Jimmy.\u201d Despite the unexpected guess, Williams, who won $9,500, stayed positive. \u201cI am spreading a lot of smiles around the world,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the show, Sajak simply responded \u201cno\u201d to Williams\u2019 guess and moved on to another contestant, Blake, who exclaimed, \u201cThis is the best!\u201d Sajak laughed and added, \u201cYeah, that\u2019s, that\u2019s it. I think.\u201d Williams approved Blake\u2019s better answer with humor. As the game continued, Sajak introduced the contestants, noting, \u201cWell, Tavaris, you\u2019ve already made an impression on us.\u201d Williams apologized, and Sajak reassured him, saying, \u201cWe\u2019ll figure out a way to handle that tastefully,\u201d as laughter continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
