He was asked, \u201cI see you don\u2019t have a winter coat, you\u2019re not cold,\u201d by the wealthy as he halted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After giving him a long look, the elderly guy said, \u201cI don\u2019t, but I\u2019m used to it.\u201d Surprised by the response he got, the wealthy guy remarked to him, \u201cWait for me! I\u2019m heading home now, and when I get there, I\u2019ll bring you a warm coat for the evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The old man\u2019s face brightened as he cheerfully assured him that he would stay and would be waiting for him. As soon as he stepped inside, the wealthy guy forgot the elderly man\u2019s pledge. When he woke up in the morning, he thought about the poor man and hurried out to find him. Sadly, the cold had claimed the elderly man\u2019s life.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/timelesslife.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Screenshot_484.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-115797\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>The old guy left a message, which the wealthy discovered. \u201cWhen I didn\u2019t have heavy clothing, I could withstand the cold because I was accustomed to it, but when you said you would assist me, I became attached to your word and found it difficult to resist.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Moral:<\/strong>\u00a0Never make a promise you can\u2019t keep, not even one based on love.
