Some stay they go through varying stages of grief as they think about the way life was and what the future holds. Those closest to Bruce Willis have been very vocal about their love and support for him in the years since his aphasia diagnosis. Though life will never be the same, they refuse to give up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Demi Moore Still Has A Deep Love For Bruce<br>On October 13, the 2024 Hamptons International Film Festival honored Demi with the Carer Achievement in Acting Award. The Substance actress said that Bruce remains \u201cstable,\u201d and she is pragmatic about his future, People reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYou know, I\u2019ve said this before. The disease is what the disease is. And I think you have to be in real deep acceptance of what that is,\u201d Demi told the audience.<br>Demi added that she has forced herself to accept that things will never be the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhat I always encourage is to just meet them where they\u2019re at. When you\u2019re holding on to what was, I think it\u2019s a losing game,\u201d she said. \u201cBut when you show up to meet them where they\u2019re at, there is great beauty and sweetness.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Demi does her best to share good times with her ex-husband and their daughters, Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 30. Even though they understand the inevitable, Demi told The Guardian that it will be a heartbreak when Bruce is gone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve all had moments where you go back and you\u2019re trying to fix something, and you\u2019re just making it worse to the point where you\u2019re incapacitated,\u201d she said. \u201cWe\u2019re seeing these small things nobody else is looking at, but we\u2019re so hyper-focused on all that we\u2019re not.
