The American media mogul and 47-year-old singer Mayer have been closely linked for years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Billboard<\/a> reports that their relationship stems back to 2015 when the pair went on a road trip together to see the rock band Grateful Dead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During Cohen\u2019s appearance on The Howard Stern Show<\/a><\/em>, he was asked about his friendship with Mayer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In response, the 56-year-old declared: \u201cI am in love with John Mayer, we are in love with each other.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cohen has been open about his s**uality, he came out publicly during the first Real Housewives of New Jersey<\/em> reunion in 2009.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Watch What Happens Live <\/em>debuted, he became the first openly gay host of an American late-night talk show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He\u2019s never been married, however, he has two young children via surrogacy, Benjamin and Lucy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During The Howard Stern Show<\/em>, Stern also remarked on how regularly Cohen and Mayer go on camping trips together, asking if anything s**ual between the pair had ever happened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cohen swore on his young children\u2019s lives that nothing of that nature had ever taken place between the two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This isn\u2019t the first time Cohen has publicly denied a romantic relationship with the singer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When CNN<\/a> asked if they were dating, the executive producer said: \u201cListen, we have a very sweet friendship, and we are together all the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI think that I was not surprised because we also have a great love for each other. So, it just seems like the obvious assumption.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
