On November 5, just two days after her birthday, she experienced a violent reaction after taking two bites of the brownie, which had been made to accommodate gluten-free students but unknowingly posed a life-threatening risk to her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her father, David Glass, described the rapid progression of her symptoms, which included vomiting, hives, and anaphylaxis.
