Popular influencer<\/a> Ricardo Godoi has tragically died aged 45.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The prominent Brazillian content creator, with over 200,000 Instagram<\/a> followers, was recognized for his luxury car content, in addition to being the CEO of Godoi Premium Group, a business he founded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Godoi\u2019s passing was confirmed on his social media account on January 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A translated post read: \u201cToday we say goodbye to Ricardo Godoi, an incredible person who left his mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHis joy, generosity, and light will remain present in our memories and in every story he helped to build. May he rest in peace.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of Godoi\u2019s close friends, Eduardo Razuk, expressed his disbelief and grief to the Daily Mail<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Razuk said: \u201cI spoke to him in the morning. Unbelievable, none of us expected that. He\u2019s already in my prayers. Godoi was certainly an enlightened person.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Godoi had reportedly arranged for a full back tattoo<\/a> to be done at a facility in Santa Catarina, Brazil, opting to undergo general anesthesia for the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tragically, he\u2019s said to have suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away at 12 p.m. on the same day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tattoo studio owner told the Daily Mail that the cardiac arrest occurred \u2018at the beginning of the sedation and intubation,\u2019 before any tattooing began.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Describing Godoi as a \u2018great friend,\u2019 the owner added: \u201cHe was quickly checked and a cardiologist was called in to try to revive him, unfortunately without success.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Godoi\u2019s death has prompted an investigation by local authorities which is ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. John Baer, anesthesiologist and chair of anesthesia at Swedish Medical Center in Colorado, explained to Scripps News<\/a>: \u201cAnesthesia is really a lot more complicated than just flipping a switch like turning off a light.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He noted that while modern advancements have significantly reduced anesthesia-related fatalities \u2013 down from 1 in 1,000 in the 1940s to approximately 1 in 100,000 today \u2013 risks remain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Baer cautioned: \u201cThose who have the money, the fame, they will find the places they can get this safely done, but still there\u2019s always that inherent risk.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
