Aiden doesn\u2019t cook, doesn\u2019t shop, and does nothing to ease my burden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aiden never acknowledged my struggles. One night, after arriving home at 9 p.m., he greeted me with, \u201cWhere have you been?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I explained my workload, but he dismissed it. \u201cWhatever, Claire. I\u2019m hungry. After grocery shopping and cooking, he ate in silence, leaving me with the mess.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The next morning, I woke up sick. Instead of concern, Aiden demanded breakfast. When I moved too slowly, he snapped, \u201cNever mind, I\u2019ll be late!\u201d and slammed the door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That day, I uncovered his affair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Realizing my worth, I changed the locks, packed his things, and ended it.
