Starting September 18, he will co-host the morning show alongside Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt, and Brian Kilmeade from 6-9 AM. Jones, 30, becomes the youngest Black co-host of a cable news program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jones, who joined FOX News in 2018, previously served as an enterprise reporter, traveling the country to interview Americans. He will continue in this role while joining\u00a0<em>FOX &amp; Friends<\/em>. In his statement, Jones expressed gratitude for the opportunity and excitement about connecting with the audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/currentnews-foryou.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/image-64.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9202\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>FOX &amp; Friends<\/em>&nbsp;remains the top-rated morning news program, consistently outperforming its competitors. Jones also made history as the youngest Black solo host on cable news with his show&nbsp;<em>Lawrence Jones Cross Country<\/em>, which ran from January 2022 until last week.
