Canada\u2019s next Prime Minister Mark Carney vows to win trade war as he immediately hits out at Donald Trump<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mark Carney, former governor of the Canadian central bank and Bank of England, won the race to become Canada\u2019s new Prime Minister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He will succeed Justin Trudeau at a time when the country is at a trade war with their long-time alley, the USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trade war started following Trump\u2019s decision to impose 25 percent import tariffs on\u00a0Canada\u00a0and\u00a0Mexico as part of his agenda of making America great again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, he brought 10 percent on goods from\u00a0China and energy imported from Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many dub this decision hostile towards the neighboring countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, it would affect the US citizens in terms of experiencing increased cost of groceries and gas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the social media Truth Social, <\/em>Trump wrote, \u201cWILL THERE BE SOME PAIN? YES, MAYBE (AND MAYBE NOT!). BUT WE WILL MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, AND IT WILL ALL BE WORTH THE PRICE THAT MUST BE PAID.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump said the \u201conly solution\u201d for Canada to dodge the tariffs would be it to become the 51st state of America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He accused Canada of failing to \u201chalt the flood of poisonous drugs into the US.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Canada and Mexico took a stand regarding the hiked tariffs, saying they would respond in the same manner to US goods being imported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his speech, he said, \u201cAmerica is not Canada. And Canada never, ever, will be part of America in any way, shape or form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
