\u201cNo, but he\u2019s very capable,\u201d Trump replied, before adding, \u201cI think you have a lot of very capable people. So far, I think he\u2019s doing a fantastic job. It\u2019s too early. We\u2019re just starting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201dBaier pressed further, noting that by the time midterm elections roll around, Vance will likely be seeking Trump\u2019s endorsement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump didn\u2019t take the bait, instead shifting focus to his administration\u2019s early successes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMany people have said that this has been the greatest opening\u2014almost three weeks\u2014in the history of the presidency,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
