Rita was my best friend, my love and my beautiful wife,\u201d Alex continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en3.mondeanimalinteressant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/48-5.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2385\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cRita had a loving soul, she always wanted to help everyone, even complete strangers. As everyone knows, Christmas was Rita\u2019s favorite holiday, in fact it was every day for her, and she started a fundraiser for a local charity.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rita was one of Jim Carrey\u2019s older sisters. The actor also has a brother named John and another sister named Patricia. All four were born and raised in Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a 2015 interview on SiriusXM 167, Rita talked about what it was like to be the sister of one of the most popular actors in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en3.mondeanimalinteressant.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/49-4.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2386\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not difficult,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBut for the last 25 years, I\u2019ve been asked about Jim every day.
