Engulfed in deep sadness following his breakup, Byron, a resident of Gloucester, England, resorted to alcohol to silence his torments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Writing a farewell note to his kin, Byron eventually took the decision to end his own life with a self-made noose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite making the choice to bid adieu to this world, there was a presence in the abode that refused to sit idly by and watch his dearest buddy say goodbye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sensing that he had hit rock bottom and seeing no path to recovery, 25-year-old Byron Taylor felt compelled to address his dire situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One evening, after getting significantly inebriated, he decided to fashion a noose. Subsequently, he descended to compose a farewell letter to his family, as per the Daily Mail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon his return to the upper floor, Byron noticed Geo, his dog, holding an object in its mouth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whilst Byron was downstairs, Geo, a Welsh bullmastiff aged six, snatched the noose. Upon Byron\u2019s attempt to retrieve it, Geo adamantly refused to relinquish it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initially mistaking Geo\u2019s actions for playfulness, Byron soon discerned the gravity of the situation. Geo seemed to comprehend Byron\u2019s intentions and snarled, daring him to take the rope from his grip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon releasing the rope, Geo had shredded it to pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Byron accords Geo for his rescue, asserting that without Geo\u2019s intervention, he wouldn\u2019t have survived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Byron remarked on Geo\u2019s apparent prescience regarding his intentions, hinting at the dog\u2019s anticipation of a forthcoming event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
