After he sought medical attention for issues related to his urine, physicians found a tiny lump on his prostate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Gleason score of 9, one of the highest ratings on the scale for cancer severity, was obtained after additional testing. Although the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2025\/05\/18\/us\/politics\/biden-prostate-cancer.html\">disease is in Stage 4<\/a>, it is said to be&nbsp;<strong>\u201chormone-sensitive,\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;which means that treatment may still be effective.
