On New Year\u2019s Day 2023, Jeremy Renner nearly lost his life in a potentially catastrophic accident outside his Lake Tahoe house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the Snowcat started to roll towards his cousin, who he thought may be crushed between the plough and a neighbouring truck, the movie star was with his nephew, Alexander Fries, who is 27 years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The actor tried to stop this by pressing the machine\u2019s stop button, but he slipped and fell in front of it, getting hit and crushed by the seven-ton machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He makes the case that he actually \u201cdied<\/strong>\u201d that day in front of his house and experienced a crazy, supernatural out-of-body experience in his recently released memoir, My Next Breath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the book, he stated, \u201cI died, right there on the driveway to my house. Though I\u2019d broken more than 30 bones and lost six quarts of blood (I\u2019d find out the true extent of the injuries only later) an even greater danger to me as the minutes dragged by on the ice was hypothermia.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI know I died \u2013 in fact, I\u2019m sure of it.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He talked of a strange period of happiness, even though you would expect him to talk about the excruciating pain he was in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The actor shared his experiences of what he felt in that moment, saying, \u201cWhen I died, what I felt was energy, a constantly connected, beautiful and fantastic energy. There was no time, place, or space, and nothing to see, except a kind of electric, two-way vision made from strands of that inconceivable energy.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Renner elaborated on his alleged \u201csupernatural\u201d<\/strong> experience when he \u201cdied\u201d<\/strong> in an interview with Kelly Ripa on SiriusXM\u2019s Let\u2019s Talk Off Camera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also described how it was ultimately annoying to return to his body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said: \u201cIt\u2019s a great relief is all I can say. It\u2019s a wonderful relief to be removed from your body.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is the most exhilarating peace you could ever feel. You don\u2019t see anything but what\u2019s in your mind\u2019s eye. You\u2019re the atoms of who you are. The DNA. Your spirit is\u2026 it\u2019s the highest adrenaline rush. But the peace that comes with it, it\u2019s magnificent. It\u2019s so magical. And I didn\u2019t want to come back. I remember, and I was brought back and I was so pissed off.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI was gone for, I think probably for, it doesn\u2019t matter if it\u2019s five minutes or two minutes or 10, but I came back and I saw the eyeball again.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m like, oh, s***. I\u2019m back. Saw my legs. I\u2019m like, \u2018Yeah, that\u2019s gonna hurt later.\u2019 I\u2019m like, all right, let me continue to breathe.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
