There has been an outpouring of tributes following the passing of Austin Metcalf, a student from Texas who was 17 years old and had been stabbed while competing in a track and field field event.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Wednesday, April 2, Frisco Police and Fire were dispatched to the 6900 block of Stadium Lane near Kuykendall Stadium in Frisco, Texas, in response to a sad occurrence that occurred there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After some time has passed, it has been brought to light that the authorities were informed of \u201can altercation between two students\u201d that \u201cresulted in one student stabbing the other.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fatality was Austin, who was 17 years old and was present at the track and field competition alongside his identical twin brother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As soon as the terrible event was reported on social media, users immediately began paying respect to the adolescent, while loved ones expressed their disapproval of the \u201csenseless\u201d act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the track and field competition that took place on April 2, Austin was involved in a confrontation with another competitor named Karmelo Anthony, who is 17 years old, as reported by the New York Post. The two individuals had never laid eyes on one another prior to the day of the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has been stated that Austin approached Anthony, who attends a different school, for sitting in the tent that is located in the stands at Frisco Memorial High School. Austin told Anthony to move.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hunter, who is Austin\u2019s twin brother and was also present, shared the following statement with WFAA: \u201cAnd my brother stepped in and said, \u2018You need to move. \u201cMake me move,\u201d he says, \u201cand he\u2019s like, \u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that, Anthony is said to have taken his rucksack and took out a knife from inside of it. In the next step, he proceeded to stab Austin in the chest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hunter explained in a way that was both devastating and harrowing how he attempted to stop the bleeding while holding his brother in his arms while waiting for emergency personnel to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that, he called the parents of the twins while Austin was being transferred to a gurney.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I could see all of the blood, and I could also see where the wound was. I was really concerned, and because of this, I had to fetch his brother, and we headed to the hospital as quickly as we could.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEveryone has already made their assumptions about my son, but he\u2019s not what they\u2019re making him out to be,\u201d Andrew Anthony said in an interview with the New York Post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
