A study in the <em>British Medical Journal<\/em> found that can.cer rates under age 50 have surged by nearly 80% over the last three decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What\u2019s driving this rise?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Diet and lifestyle shifts play a major role. Ultra-processed foods, sugar-laden diets, inactivity, and poor sleep habits contribute to obesity and chronic inflammation\u2014key risk factors for can.cer. Meanwhile, environmental exposure to plastics, pesticides, and hormone-disrupting chemicals begins earlier and lasts longer than ever before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gut health also matters.
