The Attorney General\u2019s Office successfully obtained a judicial review judge\u2019s order to deprive Hernando de Jes\u00fas Su\u00e1rez Hern\u00e1ndez, 44, of his liberty for the murder of his former partner, which occurred on January 22 in the municipality of La Uni\u00f3n, Valle del Cauca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning on a public street in the El Jard\u00edn neighborhood of the aforementioned municipality. Evidence shows that, as recorded on video, the suspect chased and attacked 37-year-old Diana Carolina Serna with a machete, decapitating her. Serna died instantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
