A Kentucky mother thinks that \u201cthe hand of God\u201d has blessed her child after seeing an odd artefact on her ultrasound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 32-week scan seems to depict a big hand stroking her unborn child\u2019s head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amanda Foster, 33, is eight months along in her pregnancy with a boy, and she has \u2018asked the Lord constantly to please keep His hand on my baby\u2019 before every visit since the baby was diagnosed with a heart problem early in the pregnancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Near the aorta, the big artery that transports blood from the heart to the body, there was a potentially fatal issue with the wall dividing certain areas of the heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Online users have praised the ultrasound, calling the image \u201camazing\u201d and \u201ca miracle.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to some, it is the baby\u2019s hand, which was swollen and deformed during the ultrasound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, following the health crisis, Foster and her husband, Kyle, feel that their boy was being protected by God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe prayed and prayed along with several others. When we followed up with a specialist, it was gone,\u201d Foster shared on Facebook. \u201cI have been so thankful that I\u2019ve begun to pray before every appointment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Foster\u2019s adventure started at the age of 17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Potter\u2019s syndrome, which happens when the baby\u2019s kidneys do not grow normally or are absent, was discovered to be present in her first son at 18 weeks of pregnancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Physical characteristics like a flattened face, low-set ears, and limb malformations result from this disorder, which also limits the baby\u2019s position in the womb and hampers lung development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Foster lost her first child as a result of these issues, and Potter syndrome is regarded as a terminal diagnosis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy thought at that time was, Well, if God is going to take my son, He will take me too!\u201d Foster shared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt didn\u2019t work out that way, and I developed a deep resentment and anger toward God. If that wasn\u2019t enough, I was later told it was very unlikely I would ever have a healthy baby boy since Potter\u2019s syndrome is more common in males.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, Foster and Kyle gave birth to two healthy girls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was \u201cdrowning in anger, pain, mind chaos, and torture,\u201d even though she was thrilled to be a mother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI never doubted that God wasn\u2019t real, I just didn\u2019t want anything to do with Him because of what He had done to me,\u201d said Foster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI lived a very chaotic and miserable life for a while. I had finally given up. I was tired and completely broken when I turned my life over to Jesus Christ in September of 2021.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Foster claimed that after that, everything in her life improved, and by November, she was expecting a child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn March of 2022, I found out he was a boy and that he was healthy! He is now two, almost three! Fast forward to now, I found out I was pregnant with another baby boy, and this pregnancy has had its ups and downs,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bailey, her youngest daughter, was the first to notice the enormous hand covering her soon-to-be younger brother\u2019s face when she accompanied her to the ultrasound appointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
