Appearing on <em>Good Morning Britain<\/em>, Wax recalled how she was thrown off Trump\u2019s private plane after laughing at his claim that he wanted to be president.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During a pre-interview meal\u2014her usual method to build rapport\u2014Trump confided, \u201cI want to be the next president of the United States.\u201d Wax burst into laughter, thinking he was joking. Offended, Trump demanded she be removed from the flight. \u201cWe reached 33,000 feet and turned straight back,\u201d Wax said. \u201cIt wasn\u2019t a good show.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stranded in Arkansas, Wax\u2019s crew later found Trump judging a Miss Nebraska contest. She noted Trump seemed perplexed by her demeanor. \u201cHe said, \u2018You\u2019re angry with a smile.\u2019 He couldn\u2019t figure me out,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Decades later, Trump not only ran but won the presidency\u2014proof, perhaps, that audacity often trumps skepticism.
