When the school bus broke down on a quiet country road, time seemed to pause. The seasoned driver calmly pulled over, turning to the students with a grin. \u201cLooks like the engine\u2019s napping. Let\u2019s enjoy some fresh air.\u201d<\/p>\n

The kids groaned but filed out, the crisp morning wrapping around them. Flanked by autumnal woods, the roadside looked like something from a storybook.<\/p>\n

Then came the rustling\u2014soft at first, then louder. The chatter stopped. From the woods emerged a massive, iridescent bird\u2014taller than a fifth grader, with shimmering feathers and powerful legs. A Dodo.<\/p>\n

Pandemonium.<\/p>\n

Children scattered, screaming and laughing. But the Dodo wasn\u2019t dangerous\u2014just curious. It approached a group hiding behind rocks, tilting its head.<\/p>\n

The driver raised his voice, calm and commanding. \u201cBack on the bus, slowly now. Our visitor means no harm.\u201d<\/p>\n

One by one, students returned, giggling and wide-eyed. The Dodo followed, pecking the grass before the driver gently turned it back toward the forest.<\/p>\n

As the bus buzzed with chatter and the tow truck approached, everyone knew they\u2019d witnessed magic\u2014a surreal moment of wonder they\u2019d never forget.<\/p>\n
