Following last week\u2019s missile exchanges between Iran and Israel, former U.S. President Donald Trump is reportedly considering military action. ABC News reports Trump told advisers he would approve a strike on Iran if presented with a solid plan, although he still hopes diplomacy might stop Iran\u2019s nuclear ambitions. \u201cI like to make the final decision one second before it\u2019s due,\u201d Trump said.<\/p>\n

On June 17, the U.S. Air Force\u2019s rarely seen \u2018Doomsday jet,\u2019 built for nuclear crisis scenarios, was spotted in the skies\u2014raising alarms. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt reinforced Trump\u2019s stance: \u201cAll options remain on the table.\u201d<\/p>\n

Russia Issues Nuclear Warning<\/strong><\/p>\n

In response to the growing threat of U.S. involvement, Russia has warned of dire consequences. Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said: \u201cNuclear facilities are being struck\u2026 Where is the [concern from the] entire world community?\u201d She warned that a \u201cnuclear catastrophe\u201d could occur at any moment.<\/p>\n

Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov stated that Moscow had already urged the U.S. to stay out, citing casualties on both Iranian and Israeli sides.<\/p>\n
