This Friday , while the Christmas caravan was taking place in Los Reyes, Michoac\u00e1n, a tragedy occurred in which two young people died and three others were injured when they were run over by a truck, according to preliminary reports.<\/p>\n

The driver who hit the young women is believed to have been intoxicated and fled the scene upon realizing what had happened.<\/p>\n

The young women who lost their lives were identified as Andrea and Lorena, ages 19 and 20, while the identities of the injured remain unknown.<\/p>\n

\nDuring the night of Friday, December 13, the Christmas caravan was taking place in Los Reyes, and on the corner of Torres Quintero and Nicol\u00e1s Bravo streets in the Centro neighborhood , a Ford F-150 pickup truck ran over the young women.<\/p>\n

The group that was hit by the driver, who was allegedly intoxicated, was made up of young people and teenagers.<\/p>\n

Mayor\u00a0\u00a0Humberto Jim\u00e9nez Sol\u00eds issued a message through social media<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0stating that the municipality is in mourning and guarantees to maintain contact with the families of the victims.<\/p>\n
