It has been revealed that Iran has fired six missiles at US air bases in Qatar and Iraq in response to President Trump\u2019s attacks on nuclear facilities in the Middle Eastern nation.<\/p>\n

On Saturday night (June 21), Donald Trump attacked Iran\u2019s main nuclear installations, calling the operation a \u201csuccess\u201d after it \u201ccompletely obliterated\u201d the Middle Eastern nation\u2019s nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

However, there have been increasing concerns about the bombings\u2019 global repercussions, particularly with regard to Iran\u2019s potential retaliation after threatening to develop a \u201cdecisive response\u201d to the US attack.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And that reaction took place today, Monday, June 23, when Iran targeted Qatar\u2019s Al Udeid Air facility, which is home to about 10,000 US troops and is the biggest US facility in the Middle East.<\/p>\n

According to an Iraqi security officer who spoke to The Associated Press, the US troop facility in Western Iraq, Ain al-Asad, was also targeted.<\/p>\n

In a statement, the US government stated that \u201cThe White House and the department of defence are aware of, and closely monitoring, potential threats.\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Officials have reported that there were no injuries at Al Udeid after the missiles were intercepted by Qatari air<\/p>\n

defenses.<\/p>\n

The closure of Qatari airspace was declared earlier today due to the possibility of an Iranian assault. Additionally, the US embassy in Qatar advised US nationals to remain indoors \u201cuntil further notice\u201d just a few hours earlier.<\/p>\n
