He was rescued by his father Peyton, who sustained stings of his own, and rushed to an emergency room where he was treated with morphine and Benadryl.<\/p>\n<p>The toddler was initially sent home because at the time he appeared to be breathing normally, according. However, according to the fundraiser, Beckham was later rushed to a different emergency room less than a day later after his skin started to turn yellow.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tinynews22.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/202506300617366862644048b9f5065.webp\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After suffering multiple yellow jacket stings, toddler Beckham\u2014born with one kidney\u2014fell into organ failure. Transferred to Memorial Savannah, he was intubated, placed on dialysis, and given life-saving medication. With no antivenom available, doctors supported his recovery. Encouraging updates report stable vitals as they prepare to remove his ventilator.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tinynews22.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/20250630061738686264423d9d39350.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nUnfortunately, an update followed revealing that doctors had decided to hold off on extubation for another day.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe kidney doctor wants them to wait because she is afraid when he comes off the sedation he may pull the dialysis line,\u201d the GoFundMe continued. \u201cWe are aiming for tomorrow. It is Gods timing and we are learning to be patient. They are also going to go ahead and transfuse him with platelets since his count was low.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As his body is recovering, there are reportedly concerns about how his kidney will function as he comes off dialysis.<\/p>\n<p>Noting that \u201cthis is not a medical experience that is common,\u201d the GoFundMe reported that doctor\u2019s were warning Beckham\u2019s family that they were in for \u201ca slow process.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Peyton has been unable to work while staying with his son in the hospital.
