Questionable Parenting Choices<\/h3>\n

Cowie admits to allowing her 13-year-old daughter to\u00a0smoke cigarettes and drink alcohol at home<\/strong>\u2014as a reward for good behavior. She defends her parenting and her reliance on government assistance:<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople may be shocked I\u2019ve been on benefits so long, but I don\u2019t care. I can\u2019t work because of the kids. The pregnancies weren\u2019t planned, but I love having a big family.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She adds:<\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly, I probably wouldn\u2019t get a job that pays what I receive now. People might judge, but if it\u2019s there, who wouldn\u2019t take it?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
