She had it removed on December 3 \u2014 but was then asked to return for further treatment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen she started telling me the diagnosis I didn\u2019t think she was talking to me,\u201d Murray, a personal trainer says; She was diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma, which VeryWell Health explains is \u201cthe most dangerous\u201d form of skin cancer that can \u201cspread quickly to other organs if not detected early enough.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEarly treatment is essential,\u201d the outlet says. \u201cIf melanoma is found and treatment begins when it is confined to the primary tumor on the skin, the five-year survival rate is excellent, at 99.6%. I woke up to a completely different outcome than what I had imagined,\u201d Murray said.<\/p>\n<p>The personal trainer says she regrets her time in the sun, admitting, \u201cI was a sun worshipper.
