Lisa\u2019s Remarkable Journey as a Mother with Down Syndrome<\/p>\n

In a world where societal expectations often push couples toward traditional life paths, those who deviate\u2014especially people with disabilities\u2014face intense scrutiny. Lisa, a woman with Down syndrome from California, defied stereotypes when she became pregnant at 29. Despite skepticism and criticism, Lisa was determined to become a mother.<\/p>\n

Supported by her mother Patti, Lisa continued working, living independently, and prepared for motherhood.
