Known only as Kay, she’s endured more than a year of unsolicited deliveries from a Chinese seller, Liusandedian, which used her address as a return location for unwanted faux leather car seat covers.

The packages arrived in a slow trickle at first but soon overwhelmed her driveway and front yard, blocking access to her home and even preventing her from parking. Kay, who cares for her 88-year-old mother, said she’s often forced to clear a path just to get her inside safely.

Despite contacting Amazon and filing multiple complaints, Kay received little help. The company initially offered a $100 gift card and suggested she donate or dispose of the goods herself. “Why is it my responsibility?” she asked.

Liusandedian violated Amazon’s own return policy by using a random U.S. address instead of handling returns properly.
