According to one author, Jeffrey Epstein sent out a final, unsettling message just hours before he was found dead in his jail cell.<\/p>\n

Epstein, a convicted pedophile, was discovered deceased inside the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan, New York City, back in August 2019.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n

Earlier that year, Epstein had been taken into custody. He was 66 years old when he died while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, which he had denied by pleading not guilty.<\/p>\n

The official ruling from the medical examiner declared his death a suicide. However, his legal team disagreed with the finding and launched their own investigation into what really happened.<\/p>\n

Author Michael Wolff recently claimed on the Daily Beast Podcast that he may have received the final communication from Epstein before his death, saying:\u00a0“I believe that I was\u2026I got the last message from him before he died.”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/article>\n

“And this came through one of his lawyers on a Friday evening. He died on Saturday morning.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Wolff then shared more details, explaining:\u00a0“His message to me hours before this happened, and it was just in response to me asking how he was, and he said: ‘Still hanging around’.”<\/em><\/p>\n

According to the New York Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, the injuries found on Epstein were consistent with suicide by hanging.<\/p>\n

During the podcast, host Joanna Coles asked Wolff if he thought Epstein\u2019s last words were possibly meant to carry a hidden message. Wolff replied:\u00a0“No, I don’t\u2026 I don’t know. I mean, it was in character.”<\/em><\/p>\n

He added that Epstein had a habit of speaking in what he described as a kind of joking or sarcastic tone, even in serious situations.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n

For years, theories have been circulating that Epstein had a secret ‘client list’ filled with wealthy and influential individuals allegedly tied to sex trafficking.<\/p>\n

However, a detailed investigation carried out by the Department of Justice and the FBI found no evidence that such a list ever existed.<\/p>\n

As stated in a memo from the FBI and DOJ:\u00a0“This systematic review revealed no incriminating ‘client list’. There was also no credible evidence found that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals as part of his actions.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Responding to people who believe Epstein didn\u2019t take his own life, FBI Director Kash Patel once said:\u00a0“Well, I mean, listen – they have a right to their opinion, but as someone who has worked as a public defender, as a prosecutor who’s been in that prison system, who’s been in the metropolitan detention center, who’s been in segregated housing.”<\/em><\/p>\n

“You know a suicide when you see one, and that’s what that was. He killed himself.”<\/em><\/p>\n
