When Tressa\u2019s pregnancy was discovered at age 11, many believed it stemmed from an incident involving alcohol. Raised in a chaotic home with a mother battling addiction, Tressa gave birth shortly after finishing primary school.<\/p>\n

Two years later, she struggled with depression and addictions to alcohol and cigarettes. Her child was eventually removed from her care and placed for adoption. For years, the identity of the baby\u2019s father remained unknown\u2014until 2009, when Tressa broke down and revealed the truth: her older brother, Jason, had repeatedly assaulted her.<\/p>\n

DNA confirmed her claim, and Jason, then 34, was sentenced to four years in prison. Tressa later told the Daily Mail<\/em>, \u201cSometimes he blackmailed or bribed me. He\u2019d give me joints, drinks, or threaten to tell Mum.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite enduring trauma, addiction, and the loss of her first child, Tressa has worked to rebuild her life. She is now with her partner, Darren Young, and expecting their third child.<\/p>\n
