{"id":70226,"date":"2025-08-01T11:39:11","date_gmt":"2025-08-01T11:39:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pulsperry.com\/?p=70226"},"modified":"2025-08-01T11:39:12","modified_gmt":"2025-08-01T11:39:12","slug":"two-year-old-boy-bites","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pulsperry.com\/?p=70226","title":{"rendered":"Two-Year-Old Boy Bites\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\" src=\"https:\/\/pulsperry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-18.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-70228\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pulsperry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-18.png 1024w, https:\/\/pulsperry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-18-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/pulsperry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/image-18-768x513.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In India, a two-year-old child surprised his village by killing a three-foot-long cobra with his teeth.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While playing outside his house in Bankatwa village, in the Majhaulia block of Bihar\u2019s West Champaran district, on Friday afternoon, infant Govinda Kumar heroically repelled the poisonous snake that curled itself around his arm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to family members, the kid threw a brick at the snake after spotting it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then the cobra lunged at him, encircling his hand tightly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a startling turn of events, the child killed the reptile by sinking his teeth into its head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dailypositiveinfo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/image-543-1024x684.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-42347\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Source:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/unsplash.com\/photos\/a-brown-snake-on-the-ground-near-a-tree-sazD8ZHV_VI\">Unsplash<\/a><\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Govinda\u2019s grandmother, Mateshwari Devi, said,&nbsp;<strong>\u201cWhen we saw the snake in the child\u2019s hand, everyone rushed towards him, but in the meantime, he already bit the snake, killing it on the spot.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The child passed out shortly after the bite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before being sent to the Government Medical College Hospital (GMCH) in Bettiah for specialised care, his family hurried him to a nearby health clinic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The child\u2019s bite is thought to have caused the cobra\u2019s head and mouth injuries, which led to its death, according to GMCH doctors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cThe venom did affect Govinda, but not fatally.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr Surab Kumar, the medic in charge of treating the toddler, said,&nbsp;<strong>\u201cTimely treatment saved Govinda\u2019s life.\u201d&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cThe child\u2019s condition is currently stable, and treatment is being administered under the supervision of doctors.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cThe medical team is treating the child, providing continuous medication, and he is under observation.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-embed-handler wp-block-embed-embed-handler\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/youtube.com\/watch?v=rmE8jUxEahc%3Ffeature%3Doembed\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cWe were surprised and cross-checked with his parents multiple times to ensure the child was not bitten by the cobra to rule out that venom had not gone into his bloodstream,\u201d&nbsp;<\/strong>the doctor also told The Telegraph.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Govinda is currently being monitored by doctors after receiving an anti-allergy medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pulsperry.com\/?p=70159\">also read&#8230;.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In India, a two-year-old child surprised his village by killing a three-foot-long cobra with his teeth.
