The attendant gently opened the door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My daughter stood there pale, hands trembling. \u201cIt\u2019s okay,\u201d I said, stepping inside. \u201cYou\u2019re safe.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tears welled in her eyes. \u201cDad, I leaked on my pants. Everyone will see.\u201d Without hesitation,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I took off my jacket and tied it around her waist. \u201cProblem solved.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She tried to smile. \u201cYou always know what to do.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The flight attendant handed her a small bag with an extra pad and tissues. \u201cYou\u2019re not alone, sweetheart. Happens to lots of girls. You\u2019ll be just fine.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Back at our seats, she leaned her head on my shoulder.
