That immediately raised suspicion \u2014 such vehicles are usually slow-moving, especially when carrying the deceased. But this one? No flashing lights, no escort \u2014 just a hearse flying like it was in a race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But instead of stopping, the driver hit the gas. The vehicle surged ahead, trying to disappear from view. The officer accelerated, keeping a safe distance while watching every maneuver. The chase lasted about five minutes, with the driver swerving, cutting corners, and nearly crashing into guardrails at one point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, realizing he couldn\u2019t escape, the driver veered off to the side and came to a stop. The door swung open, and a tall, slightly sweaty man in a black suit stepped out, grinning unnaturally wide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014 Good day, officer! \u2014 he began, trying to sound calm, but his voice trembled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under pressure and with no way out, the man sighed heavily, walked to the back, and opened the hatch. The coffin lay neatly in the center. The officer gestured for him to open that too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was no body. No clothes, no flowers, not even a pillow under the head. Only neatly arranged plastic containers. Dozens of them. Wrapped in black plastic, tape, and film. And they emitted a sharp chemical smell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The officer froze for a moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The driver tried to speak, but the officer was already putting him in handcuffs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within minutes, two more units arrived. Boxes of illegal substances were carried out of the hearse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, it turned out this was a meticulously planned operation to transport a large shipment disguised as a funeral procession. The man posing as a driver was tied to an international criminal organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
