Recently, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt\u2019s 20-year-old son, Pax Jolie Pitt, made headlines after a horrifying ac:ci:dent he was involved in. Now there has been an update in the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pax Jolie-Pitt, the son of actress Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, was involved in a scary e-bike ac:ci:dent last week in Los Angeles. Now, a close friend of the family has revealed that he has been released from the ICU but is not completely in the clear yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPax has been released from the ICU. He suffered complex trauma, and now begins the long road of recovery and physical therapy.\u201d, the source said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As per reports, during the ordeal, Jolie is by her son\u2019s side, and his siblings have also been present to help their brother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brad and Angelina share six children. While three are biological: Shiloh, 18, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 15, three are adopted. The adopted children are Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, and Zahara, 19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPax and Angelina are deeply grateful for the quick and life-saving action of first responders, and the outstanding medical care he received,\u201d the source close to the family said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to reports, at the time of the ac:cident, Pax was not wearing a helmet and then was rushed to the hospital because he suffered from a head injury and was experiencing hip pain. The initial report obtained by the press mentioned that Pax was stable and was expected to return home quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As per the LAPD, there were paramedics called to report an a:ccident at Hobart and Los Feliz Boulevard around 5 p.m. after an e-bike was reported to have rear-ended a vehicle that was stopped at a red light. The rider of the e-bike was then transported to a local hospital as he was suffering from a severe head injury but was conscious and alert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is said to be no DUI or hit-and-run or a criminal element of any kind related to the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A source close to the family shared that Angelina was by her son\u2019s side and that he was \u201cstable.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jolie\u2019s team has not yet made a comment on the situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, Lola Cavalli gave an interview, as she was one of the first people at the scene of the acci:dent and was able to administer medical aid to Pax on July 29.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cavalli shared that she immediately called 9-1-1, and on the call she was instructed by the operator on ways to assess Pax\u2019s wounds and was instructed to apply pressure to any kind of bleeding until paramedics arrived at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t see any broken bones, I did not see, like, profound bleeding, so to speak. And since I was directed to apply pressure at the site where it was bleeding, I did not see where I could apply the pressure, because it was on the head. He was hit on the head,\u201d Cavalli recalled. \u201cI had no idea where you would put the pressure to stop the bleeding on the head.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd it was not a lot of blood. Like, you didn\u2019t see like a fountain of blood rushing out, she added,\u201d[But] his mouth was filled with blood. When [he] was trying to speak, I saw a little tiny stream of blood coming out of the mouth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was in that moment more concerned with on-coming traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI saw the traffic, because he was right in the middle of an intersection and nobody behind us could see what\u2019s happening,\u201d she recalled. \u201cI took control of the traffic. I started directing it to make sure that he was not run over by another car and I was not run over by a car.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe did everything we thought would be necessary to make sure that the ambulance arrived, and [to make sure] oncoming traffic from both directions keeps on moving, instead of piling up, which would make our ambulance\u2019s approach impossible completely.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
