According to sources, Prince William prohibited Meghan Markle from wearing any of Princess Diana\u2019s jewelry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Prince Harry\u2019s feud with his brother William and the rest of the royal family in the spotlight, sources say Meghan Markle\u2019s usage of Princess Diana\u2019s jewelry may have exacerbated the situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While promoting his new book, Catherine, the Princess of Wales: The Biography, a royal correspondent told the DailyMail that William was concerned about Harry\u2019s connection with Meghan in its early stages. He begged the late Queen Elizabeth II to request that the Suits star not wear her jewelry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWilliam, still concerned by the match,\u201d Jobson explained. \u201cEven sought assurances from the Queen that his brother\u2019s bride-to-be would not wear any jewelry in the collection once worn by Diana, Princess of Wales, even though his wife Catherine had been allowed to wear some, which would be due to her rank.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jobson pointed out that Prince William and Prince Harry\u2019s relationship had already begun to deteriorate before Meghan Markle arrived. Regardless, Harry and Meghan\u2019s romance was progressing considerably faster than William was comfortable with. He allegedly said, \u201cIt would be better to give Meghan more time to adjust to the royal way of life\u201d before proposing or marrying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
