WHITE WOMAN HAD GAVE BIRTH TO A BLACK BABY FROM HER WHITE HUSBAND
Tennessee Mother Faces Backlash After Welcoming Baby with Unexpected Skin Color
Rachel, a cashier at Celina 52 Truck Stop in Tennessee, welcomed her son, Cash Jamal Buck, on February 17. Rachel and her fiancé, Paul Buckman, are both white, but their newborn son, Cash, is black. The parents joyfully announced the birth on Facebook, sharing, “Congratulations to our cashier Rachel and her fiancé Paul Buckman on their baby Cash Jamal Buckman being born on Saturday at 6:18pm.”
However, the announcement quickly sparked controversy. Users were surprised by the baby’s skin color and accused Rachel of infidelity, doubting that Paul was the real father.
In response to the backlash, Celina 52 Truck Stop posted a clarification: “Yes, Paul is the father. Rachel has African American DNA in her which can skip generations and cause a child to be born with darker skin.” They also mentioned the possibility of jaundice affecting the baby’s skin color, concluding their post with, “Please be kind.”
Despite the explanation, the comments section was filled with skepticism and cruel jokes:
- “Congratulations!!! I AM sure he looks just like his dad. Where is he?”
- “Definitely needs a DNA test; what if they accidentally mixed up the kiddos in the nursery?”
- “I feel sorry for Paul, being duped like this is a whole new level of creep. Hopefully he’ll wise up.”
