After All The Heartbreak, Jason Momoa Found New Love, And You’ll Surely Recognize Her
Jason Momoa publicly announced his new girlfriend on Instagram on Monday, and their romance has since become a hot topic on the internet.
While this revelation may surprise some, Momoa had been subtly hinting at their long-simmering relationship for quite some time.
The image’s body language depicts them cuddling up, her hand tenderly resting on his arm as his arms around her. It’s not laughing!
Momoa first met the 32-year-old actress, Adria Arjona, on the set of the 2021 Netflix film “Sweet Girl” while he was still married to Lisa Bonet. However, there’s an interesting twist to their story.
Although Momoa and Bonet had been separated for nearly five years, they were still legally married. Importantly, there was no overlap between his marriage and his budding romance with Arjona. Momoa and Bonet announced their split on October 7, 2020. Bonet filed for divorce on January 8 of this year, and their legal matters were amicably resolved the following day.
Now free to express his love publicly, Momoa shared a carousel of photos from their recent trip to Japan. He affectionately referred to Arjona as “mi amor” in the caption. The post read: “Japan, you are a dream come true; you blew my mind. We’re so thankful for everyone who opened their homes, making memories with new friends and old friends, sharing another amazing adventure with mi amor. ON THE ROAM motorcycles and mayhem. All my aloha j.”
Arjona, who married attorney Edgardo Canales in 2019, has kept details of her marital status private, and little is known about their separation or any potential divorce proceedings.
Interestingly, Arjona seems to have become part of the Momoa family circle. She was chosen by his stepdaughter, Zoë Kravitz, to direct “Blink Twice,” a film starring Channing Tatum, set to release on August 23. With Kravitz and Tatum now engaged, their wedding is expected to be a star-studded event, likely featuring Momoa, Bonet, and Lenny Kravitz.
