Kate Middleton will return to royal duty if this one condition is met, royal expert claims
The world, not just Britain, is eagerly awaiting Kate Middleton‘s return to royal duties. Although she hasn’t been seen at public events, Kate has been working from home. Currently, most royal engagements are handled by William and Queen Camilla.
The royal family has a busy summer planned, including Trooping the Colour, a state banquet, the 80th anniversary of D-Day, and Garter Day. Kate typically attends these events, and this year, King Charles has found a temporary replacement in Princess Beatrice, Prince Andrew’s eldest daughter, who is “looking forward to helping out,” according to the Daily Mail.
“They’ve got a busy diary coming up, and they need to widen the family at social events. There’s a whole week of Ascot, four garden parties, Trooping the Colour, and a state visit,” a source said. “Beatrice and Eugenie are adding support where they can. They’re always there to help fulfill any duties required.” King Charles sees his nieces as “sensible, lovely women” who could be great assets to the royal family. The source added, “Beatrice has been desperate for her chance to shine. She was once shy, but now she’s ambitious, confident, and fashionable.”
Despite staying out of the spotlight, the Princess of Wales is “excited” about a new project that could boost the UK economy by £45.5 billion ($57 billion) a year. According to The Daily Mirror, the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, founded by Kate, will release a report highlighting how businesses can support children under five and their caregivers. “Early childhood is a huge priority for The Princess, and she has been kept fully updated throughout the development of the Taskforce’s work,” said Kate’s spokesperson.
A senior royal aide told GB News, “The Princess of Wales was the driving force behind the business task force. She has been kept up to date since its inception and has read the report. This commitment will continue when she returns to work, but she needs space and privacy to recover right now. She will return when she has the green light from doctors.”
Kate’s work on the Centre for Early Childhood, which she founded in 2021, is described as her “life’s work.” Christian Guy, executive director of the center, praised the Taskforce’s progress, saying, “This is another crucial moment for HRH’s early childhood work.”
Although working on this project doesn’t mean Kate is fully back to her duties, it gives royal fans hope. GB News’ Cameron Walker emphasized that while this should not be seen as Kate’s return to work, she has been closely involved with the project from behind the scenes.
Host Isabel Webster noted, “It’s characteristically Catherine to avoid distracting from the report by focusing on her health. She’s watching it closely from behind closed doors.” Cameron Walker added that Kate’s involvement stems from her longstanding commitment to issues like addiction and mental health.
