Ever been stuck behind a customer with way too many items in a shop’s express lane? A Walmart customer recently shared a hilarious story of a cashier taking a stand against a shopper who didn’t feel like following the rules. In Colorado Springs, the customer had only a loaf of bread, a gallon of milk, and a couple of other things.
A woman with an overflowing cart tried to push ahead into the “10 items or less” lane, but the cashier was quick to act. Calmly, the cashier asked her, “Which ten items would you like, ma’am?” when the woman began unloading her entire cart. The woman, stunned, tried to argue, but the cashier patiently pointed out the rule and the sign above, showing all ten fingers.
Embarrassed, the woman insisted on buying everything, but the cashier stood firm. The woman, flustered and angry, let out a goat-like scream, shoved her cart, almost hitting an elderly man, and stormed out, flipping everyone off.
The customer, amused, tipped the cashier $20 for the best improv comedy moment.
