Lisa Marie Presley Made a Bold Choice for Her Son’s Body>>>>>>>>

In July 2020, Lisa Marie Presley lost her son, Benjamin Keough, at just 27 years old. In her memoir, From Here To The Great Unknown, she reveals a deeply personal choice she made after his tragic passing. Unwilling to say goodbye too quickly, Lisa Marie kept Benjamin’s body at home for two months before burial. This decision allowed her to grieve privately, spending time with him and reflecting on their bond without external pressure. She kept his room at a constant 55 degrees and regularly sat with him, finding solace in the memories and connection.

Lisa Marie’s choice was supported by an understanding funeral director, as California law allowed her to delay burial. She and her daughter Riley Keough later honored Benjamin with matching tattoos, a tribute to his memory.

Eventually, Lisa Marie chose to bury Benjamin at Graceland, alongside his grandfather, Elvis Presley, a place full of family history and meaning. In 2023, Lisa Marie was laid to rest beside him, reuniting the family in a place of deep emotional significance.
