Sometimes, our imagination gets the best of us—especially in relationships. One woman’s sneaky plan to catch her husband in the act turned into an unexpected twist she never saw coming.
Upset that her husband was late coming home again, she decided to test him. She left a dramatic note on the dresser that read, “I’ve had enough and have left you. Don’t bother coming after me.” Then, she hid under the bed to watch his reaction.
When her husband arrived, he picked up the note and, after a pause, scribbled something on it. Next, he called someone, saying, “She’s finally gone… yeah, about time. I’m coming over. Put on that sexy French nightie. Can’t wait to see you!”
Shocked and furious, the wife held back tears as he grabbed his keys and drove off. She quickly climbed out from under the bed to read his response. It said:
“I can see your feet. We’re outta bread: be back in five minutes.”
Turns out, her plan didn’t go as expected—and neither did his humor.
