Richard Huff is living proof that appearances can be deceiving. At 51, he has over 240 tattoos covering nearly 85% of his body, including his children’s names and even his daughter’s lips. While tattoos are his form of self-expression, they’ve also made him a target for harsh judgment. Strangers online often label him a “bad dad” simply because of his heavily inked appearance.

Despite the criticism, Richard is a devoted father of five. His wife, Marita, admits she initially judged him based on his looks but later discovered his big heart and deep devotion. She praises him as a loving husband and caring parent who treats her children from past relationships as his own.

Richard actively participates in his children’s lives, attending PTA meetings and school functions, showing that his tattoos don’t define his character. His daughter even defends him at school, insisting, “My dad is not scary, he’s just good with tattoos.”
To Richard, judgment from outsiders doesn’t matter. “We’re happy, our kids are happy—that’s all that matters,” he says. His story reminds us never to judge a book by its cover.

Richard Huff appears to be a nice husband and father who is greatly loved by his family.
You can’t judge a book by its cover, and he’s living proof of that!
